She also specialises in the unique art of ‘Cerdd Dant’, the ancient form of singing Welsh poetry to the accompaniment of the harp, and is one of the few people who performs this music self-accompanied on the harp. Her performances have been far and wide, in numerous festivals and concerts in several countries, including Canada, North and South America, Hong Kong and Europe, and she has released four solo albums on the Sain label – her latest album, ‘Hen Ganeuon Newydd’ (Old New Songs), relating to her current doctorate research into the folk-songs of her home area, Llŷn and Eifionydd.

Constance Luzzati from France is a previous winner of the Wales International Harp Festival and is a member ofTrio Haydéewith Marielou Jacquard (mezzo-soprano) and Anastasie Lefebvre de Rieux (flute). They recorded Grace Williams' Songs of Sleep at the end of 2022 and officially founded the trio in 2023. Trio Haydée focuses on a repertoire that blends unpublished works from the past century with contemporary compositions. Their collaboration emphasizes a shared passion for the poetic essence of texts and the emotive power of sound. Their programme will include music by French and Welsh composers.
