Darkside: The Pink Floyd Show
Darkside, The Pink Floyd Show, performing the music of Britain’s greatest progressive rock band, are back at Galeri, Caernarfon with two evenings of classic Pink Floyd.
After 19 years of touring, playing at theatres across the UK, seven musicians will deliver shows with empathy and passion playing tracks from Pink Floyd’s massive back-catalogue, from the early, magical days of founder Syd Barrett, through to later iconic albums, renowned for their complex structures.
FRIDAY | 04.10.24
The night will focus on Pink Floyd’s music from the albums of the 1970’s, from Atom Heart Mother through to The Wall.
SATURDAY | 05.10.24
Performing ‘From the Piper to the Bell’ and will comprise a selection of songs from across Pink Floyd’s long career. Along with well-known favourites, there will also be some selections for the connoisseur.
The emphasis will be on replicating the experience of Pink Floyd live on stage in the 70’s, which many believe was Floyd at their very best. As would be expected the show incorporates: a spectacular and dramatic laser light show, evocative images and animated sequences projected on a circular screen and quadraphonic sound, which were key features of Pink Floyd’s live performances.
