A man loses his daughter to a car. It’s like he’s in a play - but he doesn’t know the words or the moves. The man who was driving the car is a stage hypnotist. Since the accident, his act’s a disaster, he’s lost the power of suggestion. Tonight, for the first time since the accident, these two people meet when the Father volunteers for the Hypnotist’s act.

Two actors. One plays the hypnotist every time, and the other, the Father, is a different actor each night - who knows nothing about the play.

An opportunity to see a Welsh language adaptation of the award-winning play by one of Britain’s prominent theatre makers, Tim Crouch, in a Welsh translation by Invertigo Theatre Company (Y Tŵr, My Body Welsh). Derwen (An Oak Tree) is a breath-taking exploration of grief, forgiveness, and the power of suggestion, which has thrilled audiences across the world. It contains a dazzling balance of gripping story, rich theatricality and shocking humour.
