Edinburgh Fringe Preview: Lou Conran & Matt Rees

As Edinburgh Fringe Festival approaches - we’re delighted to welcome three comedy nights - all featuring great comedians who prepare to take on the Fringe Festival audiences...

Please note the original line-up has changed. Desiree Burch has unfortunately had to pull out of all shows in Edinburgh this year due to personal circumstances. We wish Desiree and her family our best wishes.

Performing tonight:

Lou Conran

There’s always someone worse off than you, isn’t there? Someone that you regularly thank your lucky stars that you’re not like. But what if all isn’t as it seems?

After a critically acclaimed run at Edinburgh Fringe 2017, Conran returns with a show about presumption, misunderstandings and misgivings. Oh, and a bloke called Darren.

'A masterclass in longform comedy' ***** (

'Laugh out loud hilarious' **** (Scotsman)

Matt Rees: Happy Hour

The multi-award-winning Welshman has generated a huge buzz on the circuit over the past few years with his unique brand of well-crafted gags and acerbic delivery earning him high praise from audiences and critics alike.

This summer will mark Matt’s debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at such a young age and with a wealth of comedic talent, it’s exciting to see exactly what he’ll do next!
